Charles K. Webster

ACT Masonry Instructor

Charles K. Webster has joined the Academy of Craft Training as a masonry instructor.

Webster has worked in the construction industry for more than 40 years. He worked as a foreman for S&W Masonry, which is now known as Masonry Arts. He also worked for Professional Masonry, Superock Block Company and Shelby Concrete. While at Superock, Webster developed the idea to prefab glass block windows for the housing market, which opened the door to sale glass blocks and cmu’s for Superock.

Webster graduated from Hewitt Trussville High School. After graduating from high school, he went through an apprentice program at the Bricklayers local 1 in 1972.

In 2012, Webster became the mayor of the city of Clay. He has been teaching arch. Construction and masonry for the past three years.
